As for gardening- Just one of the things I picked up from my grandfather. He was a real big name druid around, everybody shat their pants if he gave them a stare.

There's a small garden in the back of my temple, actually.

There are a lot of plants back at the temple. I try to water them when I can, but I'm wondering if maybe they'd do better if I left them alone. There is a harder on the roof though. What..kind of things do you grow in yours?

I got here in the late August, so I didn't expect to get much of results. Mostly herbs, some flowers, a radish or spinach here and there. [ He sighs ] If I knew the warm weather holds for so long here I would do a better job.
I'd like that. It seems like a waste to just leave the roof as is. I've never tried growing something myself.

Farm? Hmm.. not in today's sense, no. But we had land and livestock if that's what you ask.

And like every land it had to be tended to. I preferred hunting as a way to contribute, but in the end, it was wherever the hands were needed the most.

Back then, being a knight wasn't just sitting in shiny armor and clinking with every move. If war happened it was everybody's business. If there was peace, it was everybody's business too.
Oh, people butted heads all the time, about stupidest things. Just like now. But it was a little easier I think. I could get my nose broken and still be friends by the next night.
[ He laughs as if he just made a great joke. It's not like his times were without grudges, quite on the opposite of it. People seethed and hated as now. Honor and promises meant tad more, and it did keep the populace in a different place. ]
At the end of the day, we could trust each other. And trust each will follow their beliefs.
