Farm? Hmm.. not in today's sense, no. But we had land and livestock if that's what you ask.

And like every land it had to be tended to. I preferred hunting as a way to contribute, but in the end, it was wherever the hands were needed the most.

[ For all the talk about kings and kingdoms, their medieval counterparts would consider the Emain Macha - the capital of Ulster - merely a big village. ]

Back then, being a knight wasn't just sitting in shiny armor and clinking with every move. If war happened it was everybody's business. If there was peace, it was everybody's business too.
